12:00 – 1:15  Overview of ASP.NET 2.0

ASP.NET 2.0 provides many new capabilities for creating real-world web applications without spending all of your time on the plumbing. In this session, we'll discuss the project model in ASP.NET 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005. We'll also look at Master Pages, Themes/Skins, Personalization and Web Parts.

1:30 – 2:45  Data Binding Web Pages in ASP.NET 2.0

In this session, we'll look at how ADO.NET and ASP.NET work together to help developers quickly create rich data-bound web applications. We'll discuss binding to a SQL database and performing common tasks such as sorting and paging.

3:00 – 4:15  Building Secure Web Applications with ASP.NET 2.0

There are many improvements in ASP.NET 2.0 for developers creating secure web applications. This session will discuss the security controls, membership provider framework and the site administration tool. We'll walk through how to create a secure web application quickly and easily with a minimum amount of coding.
